SSWUG was created from scratch – every line of code built to provide the content management, the searching, the articles and so much more. This all started more than a decade ago.
Since then, we’ve been through a few UI changes as we built out different options and capabilities and even as we jumped headlong into the virtual events options we wanted to offer.
But things keep changing – and we wanted to make SSWUG.org the best it can be – and make sure it’s accessible by you on any platform you like.
So, the new SSWUG is all of these things. It’s faster, it’s easier to navigate and search, it has more features open to everyone, and more premium features too.
– Responsive – you can now use the site on mobile devices – while this seems pretty standard, as it should be, it’s a big conversion goal that we put front and center in the cutover. It should be easy to use, easy to access and support pretty much any device out there.
– Updated UI – it was important to make more information available, more easily. The older site format was limiting in terms of capabilities and presentation options.
– Easier publishing of content – for authors, for video presenters – the easier publishing is now coming online that will offer new tools, better graphic and image support and more.
– Better financial transaction processing – – every aspect of protecting your information has been maintained, and even enhanced. From worldclass services provided by Authorize.net for processing transactions to full out protection of your personal information at all new levels.
