SQL Server and Access?
Are you using Microsoft Access with SQL Server? I had several people write on Friday that they’d like to see more information on combining Access and SQL Server, using Access as a data mining/reporting tool against SQL Server.

I was a bit surprised, I must admit. I know the apps are there, or can be built, and goodness knows I like working with Access. To me, though, Access is more of a "build the apps/reports they need and deploy it" rather than a mining and drill down type environment.

What types of things do you do with Access and SQL Server combined? I had a couple of people mention that they used Access to report on third-party applications using SQL Server – it was easier to connect and build the reports in that type of environment.
