Top Database Stories of 2008
I was reading this article at eWeek about what they perceive to be the top database-oriented happenings in 2008. What would you say are the biggies? Here’s a look at their list – I’d agree with several of them, but I think there are some other stories that didn’t make the list that would certainly be high on my list:

– SQL Injection issues took center-stage and administrators had to get serious about troubleshooting, prevention and recovery.

– Data compromises – just a few of these this year (!)

There are others, but I don’t want to slant things too much.

What say you? What would you consider the top happenings of the year?

Drop me a note – they can be serious or sarcastic (but clean).
