Enable Users DB2 Commands

We have instance owner db2inst1, which belongs to group db2grp1. I added another user, db2admin, to this same group, but this user is not able to issue db2 commands. Can anybody tell me what extra settings in the profile I need to do to enable this new users db2 commands?
