What Are Your SQL Server 2008 Plans?
I’ve been hearing a lot from different vendors about their plans for SQL Server 2008, so it got me thinking about what everyone is planning to do. I know the release is stable, even though it’s in RC0 status at the moment, but of course still "beta." So, when it’s released, what do you plan on doing?

Those that I’ve spoken with thus far plan on doing upgrades to 2008 as they need to be done – basically inserting it in the course of normal project updates in place of what had been SQL Server 2005. There are those looking for specific features of 2008, but the people that are using more traditional SQL Server features and such seem to be more inclined to update as the cycles come around rather than kicking off speciifc upgrade projects.

Is this what’s on your agenda too, or do you have specific plans for the migration to 2008? What feature(s) most drive your upgrade decisions and are you working with RC0 and prior CTP releases, or are you starting with this RC0 drop?
