Visual Studio has Released
I wrote just a week or so ago from DevConnections about Visual Studio 2008 and the announcements that it would be available this month (November).

Well, it’s been released. If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on it and have MSDN, just head over to MSDN and you’ll be all set.

This is the release when all of the pieces come together for VS. From LINQ to working with SQL Server to all sorts of updated (what used to be) add-ins, this release is a significant one. It’s also the release that syncs with SQL Server 2008 and Windows 2008, all for that launch event in February of next year.

Also of note, the Express products are being updated, so if you’re a user of the Express environments (the free versions of VS), make sure you head over to Microsoft.com and get your updates.
